In summer 1997 Berlin neuroscientists - students, postdocs and group leaders - met for the first time near Berlin to mutually present their data and to discuss their results. It turned out to be an exciting meeting and we thus felt encouraged to continue this series. The meetings in spring 2002 and 2004 attracted more than 200 participants and we even expect the BNF 2006 to exceed this number.

The focus of the meeting are poster sessions representing neuroscience research in Berlin. A selected number of international key-scientists are invited for pleanary lectures and will complement the scientific program. We expect exciting scientific exchange and we would like to invite you to be part of this meeting.
